US delivers laser-bombs to Egypt, Oman, and the UAE
--May 7, 2004
The Defense Department has approved the delivery of laser-guided air bombs to Egypt, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The contracts were awarded by the U.S. Air Force under the Foreign Military Sales program.

Raytheon has been awarded five separate competitive contracts totaling $7.9 million for the Paveway II Laser Guided Bomb components. The contracts call for the manufacture and delivery of Paveway II LGB kit components for such international customers as Egypt, Oman, South Korea, Taiwan and the UAE.

The Paveway II LGB system features an onboard guidance system that detects and guides the unit to a target illuminated by an external laser source. The semi-active laser guided munition is meant to destroy a target with far fewer strikes than required by conventional weapons.

HORN of AFRICA: Choke -Point (where Red Sea meets Gulf of Aden)
DjiBouti -
As Yemen emerged as the latest focus of America's "war against terror", it was revealed yesterday that 800 US troops and an unknown number of special forces personnel had been dispatched to Djibouti, the tiny African nation that faces Yemen across the Gulf of Aden. The assault ship Belleau Wood is also in the area and could be used as a platform for troops.

Officials at US Central Command (CentCom) said the deployments were intended to position people and equipment for any operations in the Horn of Africa, though they declined to say whether an operation was imminent.

US plan to divide Sudan worries Egypt, Libya etc. Aug 21-2002
Egyptian state-owned newspapers have accused the United States of seeking to divide Sudan in a move that would escalate instability in the Horn of Africa. The newspapers warned that any division of Sudan would harm Egypt and threaten its water supply from the Nile River, which stems from the south.
Libya, Egypt's partner in the aborted Sudanese peace effort, has been even more vocal. Libyan African Unity Minister Abdul Salam Turaiki said the Sudanese agreement signed last month was part of Washington's plan to partition several Arab countries. In an interview with the Tunisian daily Al Shuruk, Turaiki cited all North African countries, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Syria and said the partition of Sudan would threaten all of Africa.

US military to handle external threats to Arab nations
Arab militaries to handle internal affairs --- June 9, 2004

A new report by the Rand Corp. said Arab militaries would assume a dual-use role that will allow them to respond to domestic unrest rather than external threats. The report said the militaries of both U.S. allies and adversaries in the Middle East have been bolstered by new equipment meant to protect the regime from domestic threats fueled by Islamic insurgency and other unrest.
"Militaries will be more devoted to internal control than to external defense," the report, entitled
"The Future Security Environment in the Middle East Conflict, Stability, and Political Change," said

As economic and social pressures cause domestic threats to increase, militaries will have to commit their best resources to internal police functions such as suppressing demonstrations." [ police states ]

Pentagon plans a 24 hour strike force
To move quickly when a crisis erupts, key combat units from all the armed services would be organized into "Global Joint Response Forces" capable of setting up operations in a hostile environment within 24 hours, according to the proposal presented by retired Air Force Gen. James P. McCarthy, who headed Rumsfeld's review panel on the transformation of conventional forces.
These units would be designed to gain control of a trouble spot within
four days and bring a conflict to a decisive resolution within 30 days. In humanitarian emergencies, military units would start handing over operations to civilian contractors and nongovernmental organizations after 30 days, McCarthy said.
The emphasis on overseas deployments, military interventions and the use of troops on humanitarian missions runs counter to some of Bush's campaign rhetoric last year,

Israel's Role in the UN-WEOG
The WEOG is the only regional group which is not purely geographical, but rather geo-political, namely a group of states that share a Western-Democratic common denominator. (WEOG comprises 27 members: all the West European states; and the "others" -- Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States.)

Now that Israel has been accepted into the UN Regional group of the
"West European and Others Group WEOG",
she will eventually have to allow her forces to be taken to other lands.
That necessitates the fact that foreign forces will enter into her land for stabilization.

Carter and the Arabs .... May 13- 2002 --Dave Eberhart
Former president Jimmy Carter, who has recently emerged as one of the Jewish state's most vocal critics for its current West Bank anti-terror policy, has been the recipient of tens of millions of dollars from Arab sources.
Recently, for example, Carter suggested that the U.S. government should threaten Israel with the possible loss of U.S. aid if it continues its military offensive in the West Bank.

He also said the U.S. should demand that U.S.-supplied weapons be used only for defensive purposes.
Mr. Carter's views are often aired by the American media as those of a neutral mediator -- the man who engineered the 1979 Camp David Accords that has given Israel and Egypt a cold peace in the decades since.
But far from being neutral, Carter has
a track record as a long-time critic of Israel who has often displayed pro-Arab sympathies.

urges economic and military leverage to persuade Israel....April 22-2002
"Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter says the United States should leverage economic and military aid to Israel to persuade the Jewish state to withdraw from Palestinian lands in exchange for Middle East peace.

Writing Sunday in The New York Times, Mr. Carter - who brokered the landmark 1979 peace deal between Israel and Egypt - said Washington provides nearly $10 million daily in aid to Israel. In calling for economic pressure on the Jewish state, he said normal diplomatic efforts to end Middle East violence have failed.

What will mean more to America, the rich Arab Countries oil, or taking a stand for G-d's Chosen People?
The answer to this question will be what determines America's future. We are in very serious times.
I can't stress this enough.

By choosing the oil of the Arab Countries,  over helping the Jewish People, we will  become "goats." To choose to help, and to stand beside Israel, will cause us to become "sheep." In Matthew Chapter 25, we see what happens to the goats and to the sheep. Yeshua will be the One who determines who the sheep and the goats  are. He will make that determination based on one factor, that being, by what people do (or don't do) for the least of one of His brethren .
Who are His brethren, His physical brethren? They are the Jewish People

New Peace Plan for Israel
...April 8-2002 (foretold long ago--Matthew 24:15)
The Prime Minister also offered British help in monitoring a ceasefire in Israel as he and Mr Bush proposed a new political process to bring peace to the region. After two days of talks at President Bush’s ranch on the War on Terror and the situation in the Middle East, the Prime Minister suggested that Britain and other countries could send in teams of observers to ensure that both sides kept their side of the bargain once Israel withdrew from recently occupied territories and the Palestinian Authority cracked down on terrorists in its midst.

The idea, which will be fiercely opposed by Israel, would involve former government officials, diplomats and policemen going to the region to ensure that Israel stopped its incursions and that Yassir Arafat reciprocated by arresting terrorists. The EU would be expected to be involved.

Possible Scenario: Will the Arabs force Sharon to use the neutron bomb ?
Will the nations then bring Sharon to the world tribunal ( war crimes court ) in Europe ?
Will Shimon Peres --world player--continue the negotiations?
Time will tell.

1. US SENDS NATIONAL GUARD UNITS INTO GULF FOR FIRST TIME---World Tribune....Jan. 29-2001
The United States is sending National Guard units to protect Arab allies in the Gulf. Officials said this is the first time National Guard units will be deployed in the region. Over the last decade, individual National
Guard members have been sent to bolster U.S. Army troops. The first National Guard unit to have been deployed was that from Alabama 1st Battalion, 203rd Air Defense Artillery. The Patriot anti-aircraft battery with the unit was deployed earlier this month with soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery, 35th ADA Brigade from Fort
Bliss, Texas. They are joining a rotation of nine air defense battalions in the Gulf, a development which began a decade ago amid the 1991 war against Iraq. Officials said the task force normally is divided between both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. (World Tribune)
