Thoughts on the Book of Revelation

Seven Blessings:

1. "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:
for the time is at hand." REVELATION 1:3

2. "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
'Write, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them"
REVELATION 14:13

3. "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." REVELATION 16:15

4. "And he saith unto me, Write, "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.
And he saith unto me, "These are the true sayings of God". REVELATION 19: 9

5. "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." REVELATION 20:6

6."Behold, I come quickly: Blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book."
REVELATION 22:7

7."Blessed are they that do His commandments. that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the City." REVELATION 22: 14

Explaining the Fifth Blessing:

5. "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."
REVELATION 20:6

The Fifth Blessing clearly refutes the heresy of Reconstructionists who say we have governmental power and kingdom authority in the Church Age now. We only share governmental assistance with Our Lord after the Resurrection of the Saints....not before then. "for without Me, ye can do nothing" John 15:5

Our Lord has granted the Church members spiritual authority in the name of Jesus Christ over the spirit realm only.
We are merely conduits of the Holy Ghost power given after the resurrection of King Jesus.
______________

This # 5 blessing mentions taking "part" in the first resurrection.
The First resurrection
contains these four parts:
1. evening.......Our Lord's resurrection on Easter, along with the barley sheaf of saints.
2. midnight.......the rapture/resurrection of the saints at mid-trib, prior to the Great
.........................Tribulation
3.cockcrowing...rapture/resurrection of left-behind saints,
..........................and the multitude no man can number;
..........................and also the ascension of the two witnesses.
..........................All 3 events most likely occur together.
4.morning
..........resurrection of the Just
..........................and Transfiguration-glorified bodies given to the Remnant
..........................who are changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.

There are
actually 7 resurrections contained in the Dispensation of the "First Resurrection ":
1) Our Lord's Resurrection (Our Firstfruit)
2) resurrection-ascension of Barley Sheaf ( Matthew 27:51--53 )
3) rapture-resurrection of New Testament Saints ( Matthew 25: 10 --- the Midnight Rapture )
Tokiah Gedolah trumpet
4) rapture-resurrection of left-behind Saints ( Mark 13:35 "cockcrowing"; Matthew 24: 39-41 )
5) resurrection-ascension of 2 witnesses ( Rev. 11: 11,12 )
6) resurrection of the Just at the end of the Great Tribulation ( John 11: 24..... Matthew 24:31 )
7) Transfiguration-glorified bodies given to the Jewish Remnant
..... 1 Corinthians 15: 51 : " at the last trump" ( Shofar HaGidol ) .".we shall be changed"
