Out of the Problem and into the Solution

Complimentary and Alternative "Medicine" CAM ( Reiki and " energy" prayer etc. )
appeals to the lonely, the disadvantaged ( critically ill ), and the spiritually gullible. CAM services surround their governing boards -- not with professional doctors -- but with lawyers.

Where is the scientific data on massage-healing, visualization, sacred symbols for CURING cancer etc ? If there were such verifiable documentation, then all pharmaceuticals and hospitals would go out of business.

CAM is political-grant money ( big-time ) , and the battle is for the soul and the mind.

"Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul;
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell " -- Matthew 10:28

CAM uses examples of Jesus Christ's healings in the Gospel for their charlatan practice. But Jesus never referred to "energies" . What He did say was "virtue" .... the power of our Creator-God mercifully restoring His creation. Jesus was not a middle-man practitioner.
He was / IS that VIRTUE. That makes all the difference in the world.

Praying to the Father in Jesus Name

If you have a loved one into New Age therapies ( CAM, Reiki etc) pray continually for them night and day that their eyes be opened to this practice of taking advantage of the disadvantaged. Pray that they be delivered from self-delusion. Pray that they be restored to a relationship with the Living and true God of the Bible.... the whole Bible. If your loved one is dying, there is very little time to make prayer your highest priority. You will have to MAKE time for it.

Until your loved one can see the manipulative and exploitive side of CAM, it is useless to tell them the truth.
They must first see the Lie ( techniques ) being perpetuated, before they can see the Truth.

In that chapter we see that constant perseverance in prayer -- our repeated daily asking-- avails us much with God. We also see that asking God to miraculously intervene necessitates the fact that we first bind the demonic stronghold in this situation:
"But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him ( devil ) , he ( God ) taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils."

We are to FIRST bind the strongman over this New Age occultic practice of darkness :
Matthew 12:29 and Mark 3:27 .

"Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
And whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". Matthew 18:18

The demons of New Age which are to be bound are:
powers, principalities and mights;
thrones and dominions,
all spiritual wickedness in high places and
the rulers of the darkness of this world.
