The stamp-sized computer chip meant that customers could upgrade to their next handset or test drive a new one simply by removing the smart card and putting it into a new Fido(R) handset. ED: Both the subdermal chip and the e-ID card are applied in stages. Final Stage: condemned
"No, one chip does it all.Obviously the main application is the medical. It can also be used for security, and in a few instances in Europe right now it’s actually used for financial transactions and financial applications But what’s key here is that the main element of “privacy or security” is really control. And our system was built, our chip was built (the hardware, the scanner, and the database) for you, the VeriChip subscriber. You’re the person with the VeriChip and you have control over the database and control over who gets access to that database." Ed : the proof is in the pudding

"So, when you look at the normal areas of privacy concerns, such as credit cards for example—one could make an argument that because of the way our system is set up, that our system is more secure than your credit card or even your access card into your building or apartment because it’s in your arm, it’s with you all the time, it’s tamper proof, it’s secure, and no one can take that number and use it to their advantage unless you want them to.While with your credit card, for example, I could take a credit card out of your wallet, walk into a Wal-Mart, spend a hundred dollars and nine times out of ten I’m going to
get away with it." Ed: not so; biometric verification cancels all that.

Ed:
Equating smart card with Verichip

related to those things, I think the VeriChip is a very logical technology to use for that"

Net 1 ebanking - May 27, 2006

Net1 provides its universal electronic payment system, or UEPS, as an alternative payment system for the unbanked and under-banked populations of developing economies. Net1 believes that it is the first company worldwide to implement a system that can enable the estimated four billion people who generally have limited or no access to a bank account to enter affordably into electronic transactions with each other, government agencies, employers, merchants and other financial service providers.
To accomplish this, Net1 has developed and deployed the UEPS. This system uses secure smart cards that operate in real-time but offline, unlike traditional payment systems offered by major banking institutions that require immediate access through a communications network to a centralized computer.
This offline capability means that users of Net1's system can enter into transactions at any time with other card holders in even the most remote areas so long as a portable offline smart card reader is available. In addition to payments and purchases, Net1's system can be used for banking, health care management, international money transfers, voting and identification. Website: http://www.net1ueps.com/

Hitachi mobile phone ( cell phone) being readied for eft biometric payments -- May 7, 2006
Biometric verification: finger-vein ID .... inside the body
"Hitachi forecasts that within two years [ 2008] it will be able to provide finger-vein ID small enough to fit into mobile phones, eventually relieving users of the need to carry cash or credit cards.
According to a Hitachi spokesman, the company’s researchers are developing phones that will recognise the identity of the owner
as soon as their fingers touch the handset. Everyone has unique vein patterns in each finger that is a far more accurate indicator of identity than a fingerprint"

"A big advantage of finger vein recognition for mobile phone payments is that it is the only biometric identification system to use an internal body characteristic that is visible externally.

2006 : The Year of contactless payments ( nfc near-field communication)

The related market for near-field communications is also seeing a surge in activity although according to Michielsen,
2006 will be "the year of NFC."
Tens of thousands of reader terminals are being upgraded with contactless capabilities by VIVOtech and others. The level of interest from merchants is, says Michielsen, "shocking and welcome" to companies providing the infrastructure.
While the firmest commitments are seen in North America, interest is also strong in Europe and Asian-Pacific countries, because such technologies can be deployed anywhere in the developed world.

VIP Authentification Device from VeriSign
-- Feb. 14, 2006

VeriSign on Monday unveiled a new security system to protect online buyers from identity theft, and said it had signed up PayPal, eBay, and Yahoo as the first sites to support the authentication service.

Called VeriSign Identity Protection (VIP), the system will let consumers use a single security device to authenticate themselves to any VIP-enabled Web site. Using a shared authentication network operated by VeriSign, VIP allows e-tailing sites and enterprises to provide customers or users with one authentication credential --
perhaps a USB-based token [ click link here] that plugs into the computer -- for verifying identity
VeriSign said it hoped to attract financial organizations such as banks and brokerage houses, Internet providers, and e-commerce sites to the network, where costs would be shared and the cost of stronger authentication brought down to a reasonable price.
VeriSign has been pushing tokens as a way to provide two-factor authentication, as has rival RSA Security.

Both eBay's PayPal and VeriSign will sell or give away authentication tokens for VIP. VeriSign plans to sell token devices directly to consumers through a Web portal to go live this summer. Yahoo, meanwhile, will let VIP-compliant devices authenticate users of its portals for such services as e-mail and storage.
Parts of the VIP network are available now, while others -- such as a fraud intelligence network -- will debut in four to six months.

VERISIGN,  whose software helps prevent identity theft on the Internet, said it would work with eBay and Yahoo to create a network that makes online shopping more secure. VeriSign will provide network participants with electronic devices that confirm shoppers' identities and give them access to the network, VeriSign said.
The devices will initially be distributed to consumers by eBay's PayPal unit.  (Bloomberg)--IHT Feb. 14, 2006

Verichip and e-commerce

Personal comment: Have you noticed how the media is going all-out to show how VeriChip can easily be cloned and that it is NOT encrypted ? This bad press comes at the same time that the Administration is pushing for "smart card " ID that claims to be the ultimate in security with unhackable encryption.
Perhaps the negative press given to VeriChip will further the acceptance by everyone for preferring a smart card ID
( REAL ID ). After all, smart cards are far more advanced than a subdermal chip. Smart Cards can perform financial transactions and have multiple applications. VeriChip is extremely limited in that it can only reflect a number.
Yet both have the potential for 666 purchasing which is forbidden in the Bible. Rev. 14: 9-11.

Verichip poised for financial transactions
( Ed: and they sure can't scan the inside of your arm at the grocery store scanner )
Scott Silverman: "I think it depends on what you want the database to be. Today, in 2006, the primary reason for the database is clearly the medical records and the medical applications. If you decide to use it in lieu of your smartcard to get into your building, again, that’s a decision that you make as the person that has the VeriChip to use it for a security application."

" If, down the road, it turns into a financial transactional source, and you make the decision to use it for that, whether it be a credit card or an ATM (or obviously in lieu of those things) then you make that decision. So I don’t necessarily think that the database that is being created from the VeriMed system today and what may come down the road is any different than any other database out there. In fact, because of the tamper proof and secure hardware, I think the database is probably better protected than most databases out there in today’s society. "

Raise your RIGHT hand for chip implant -- July 15, 2006
Ed: The following article is very revealing in that this is the FIRST time the phrase "RIGHT hand" is used in regards to the Verichip. They are following the script in Rev. 13 perfectly, even though Revelation/ Apocalypse was written over 2,000 years ago!
This article cannot be referring to "under the right arm" ( phrase also used in this article ) for financial transactions, as that would be impossible to work with scanners at the grocery store. So -- just like the title says-- we will use our " RIGHT hand"  eventually for scanning at all POS (point of sale) terminals.

The article stops short of saying that verichips will be placed in the right hand for financial purchases, but it does mention global purchasing with a card. The magic of the card lies in one's unique number, and anyone can deduce that a number in a verichip implanted in the right hand will also open up portals to banking databases -- along with one's biometric ID -- in the future.

Wait a minute... did they say "
offer direct access to your bank account from anywhere in the world" ?
Will there be a global currency unit for global financial transactions ?? How ? When?
Not to worry. They are having a single-global-currency summit next week to prepare for all of this.

And we too are preparing for this by waiting on the Lord for the Rapture and keeping ourselves informed. Let's keep looking up !

There are two different kinds of RFID payment systems :
1. An RFID tag ( subdermal or otherwise) that debits a pre-paid account with limited ability ( Stored Value)

2. An RFID subdermal chip that executes financial transactions in REAL TIME ( VeriPay---globally integrated banking and financial services) and includes personal data registered into a global database with world-wide networking.

Kneeling by submission .... worshipping the god of convenience

What about taking the Mark at this point in time when it is not yet associated with the 666 Beast ? We still would not take it, for it breaks the First Commandment:
"Thou shalt have no gods before Me".

If one cannot transact normal human affairs without the bio-mark, then one has transferred himself from being made in the image of God to becoming a numbered thing ....an object, chattel.
( Man was created without a bio-mark.)
One immediately loses his personhood ( soul ) when taking a bio-mark in order to buy or sell.
No, I would not allow myself to become a number ... a thing ... an object , chattel, by physically implanting a number in me --- even if I never read the book of Revelation / Apocalypse.
Common sense alone would forbid it.

Will you get chipped ? Dr. Kelly Hollowell --July 11, 2004
"For example, since the events of 9-11 and the New York City blackout, how hard is it to imagine a catastrophic event capable of destabilizing the entire world economy? Once technology like the Verichip is in full swing it could be one of the very first systems used to restore order in the face of national or even global disaster.

Jason's main points on the Mark of the Beast
All seem to say that obedience to God's commands is what his mark represents.
Now, the way I see it, the taking of the biochip "merely for convenience sake" would violate a good portion of God's ten commandments.

  1. It breaks the first, "worship only God", and have no God's above God.
  2. It breaks the third, "making any images" or the worship of them.
  3. It breaks the fifth, "honor your parents", as it is a violation of your natural body, as are tatoos and piercings.
  4. It breaks the sixth, "thou shalt not kill", as people are routinely killed in the support of this world money system, and people will be killed/beheaded when they refuse to take the mark.
  5. It breaks the eighth, "thou shalt not steal", as that's what inflation and personal taxation and unjust weights and measures do, and taking the mark would be supporting all of those.
  6. It breaks the ninth, "thou shalt not bear false witness", as people who use cash and do not accept the mark will be accused of wanting cash for illegal purchases and uses.
  7. It breaks the tenth, "thou shalt not covet", as the taking of the mark will be promoted as a way to avoid having your neighbors covet your cash--you won't have any cash or credit to steal

What exactly is the 666 Mark of the Beast ? www.cybertime.net/~ajgood/trust.html

" And he causes all... to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads, and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of his name....and his number is 666." Revelation 13:16-18

Always Voluntary -- a matter of choice
Applied Digital, based in Palm Beach, Fla., says it will soon begin the process of getting Food and Drug Administration approval for the device, and intends to limit its marketing to companies that ensure its human use is voluntary.
"The line in the sand that we draw is that the use of the VeriChip would always be voluntarily,"
said Keith Bolton,
chief technology officer and a vice president at Applied Digital.
"We would never provide it to a company that intended to coerce people to use it."

Ed. note: "voluntary" is a very misleading word. The subdermal chip will be REQUIRED ( necessitated) for all financial transactions, including the purchasing of groceries ( for eating and survival).
That hardly makes the word "voluntary" as innocent as they would like it to sound.

This is the FIRST time the word "head" is used with the VeriChip ( that I know of) JULY 27, 2005
It is on page three of a three page article.

"The idea of putting something in your head or in your arm frightens people and stirs up privacy worries, even if they don't make a lot of sense," he says. "Americans have an almost obsessive drive to protect their personal privacy."

Another First : This is the first time I have seen them admit that the chip will be used for financial transactions. Kind of hard to swipe a shoulder or arm. Do you suppose they will announce implanting the VeriChip in the RIGHT HAND ? If so, they are fulfilling Rev. 13.
"dogtag" -- July 28, 2005
The chip has a special polyethylene sheath that helps skin bond to it so it stays in place. It has no battery, and is said to have an expected lifespan up to 20 years.
It has been suggested that eventually VeriChip could replace credit cards and other forms of identification cards with the advantage that, unlike their plastic equivalents, they are almost impossible to lose.

Made by VeriChip Corporation, the [ Baja ] chip is contained in a tiny glass capsule. It contains a 10-digit number and responds to a scanner's signal.
