THE FALSE PROPHET

Since leadership is always subject to change, we feel the man is not revealed yet.
But the props are all in place..... written September 2001

The First Beast -- AntiChrist -- has
1. a promoter ( who causes all to worship the antiChrist ) ..... Rev. 13:12 and Rev. 13: 8 ,
2. This endorser is also an enforcer of the 666 economic System. Rev. 13: 16 -- 18
3. He is also a wonder-worker ( Rev. 19:20 and 2 Thessalonians 2: 8 - 10. )

He is referred to as the "second beast" and is also called "the false prophet " .
He is given that title in Rev. 19:20…."the false prophet that wrought miracles before him ( the anti-Christ )
In 2 Thessalonians 2:8, he is referred to as "that Wicked " .... "with all power and signs and lying wonders "
"Lying wonders" means fake, contrived miracles, wrought about through deceitfulness.
This could possibly refer to the ability to alter perception through special effects by HDTV etc. and other high tech manipulatons.

" And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth
( Jesus Christ is the Love of the Truth whom the world does not receive )
" and God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie"
People will be gullible and believe these mirages of miracles because the masses love not the truth ...
" I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life" John 14: 6

Most of the descriptions of the false prophet are given in Rev. 13:11-18.
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;
and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

Here the false Prophet is described as:
"coming up out of the earth". "Earth" denotes "structured government";
In other words, the False Prophet is elected in a normal democratic election, during a time of relative stability.

The word "earth" is mentioned 5 times here in regards to the false Prophet, and you can count 6 times when including
Rev. 13: 8 which shows the results of this endorser. The word "earth" in this context forewarns of the "Earth-ethic"
( the greens of global warming policies ) just as "sea" (for the antichrist ) denoted chaos.

The False Prophet has two horns, or spheres of leadership.
We see those two spheres as being
1. National leader of a major country
2. International policy maker on earth - ethic

TWO HORNS OF LEADERSHIP

Could the two horns of power, authority and leadership be the following:
1. Leader over his own country
2. Leader over international policy on global warming ( the green Earth -ethic )

LAMB- DRAGON
The False Prophet is described as "like a lamb" ….seemingly good for the people....the "common cause" ..coalition of nations
yet "he spake as a dragon"…his enforcements become increasingly harsh, cruel and arbitrary….cutting off sustainability (survivability) to those who eventually do not march in lock step with his ever encroaching regulations.

A CALL to WORSHIP the First Beast
Again, referring to the false prophet in Rev. 13:
*He causes everyone to worship the antichrist (AC). He underscores all of the AC pronouncements with laws, regulations, fines, fees,"cutting off " from the system, imprisonment. and eventually death.
Execution is the forte of the false prophet.
"Is this the man that...opened not the house of his prisoners"?

Through total surveillance (RFID tags, GPS, Echelon, VeriChip, Galileo) the false prophet can monitor our every move.
Do we realize that computers give off more information about ourselves, than we can obtain from them? The future will bear this out.

Miracle - Magician

The false prophet will have occultic and demonic powers at his finger tips…
just like Jannes and Jambres in the courts of Egypt. Exodus 7:11, 12; and 2 Timothy 3:8
Thus he will be able to perform supra-natural events. Yet he will not have true power over nature, which only God has. The magic of the false prophet will be a combination of the occult, special effects , digitization and any state-of-the-art technology. ('technique' comes from technology)

First, it must be said that man has always been fascinated with fire. Fire is the ultimate power of the gods in mythology. It is awe inspiring.

Only God Almighty has power over fire.
It was by fire that God first revealed himself to Moses in the burning bush. God manifested His supreme power over fire and its ability to consume or not to consume. God's will and Presence determined that.

Next, we see that Elijah tells the people contesting on Mt. Carmel that the God who answers by fire is the Living God…Jehovah. And the fire of Yahweh-God came down mightily in power, licking up the buckets of water round about. Elijah's God answered by fire.

Then we see the ultimate miracle of God, keeping alive the three Hebrew young men in the fiery furnace of Daniel Chapter 3.

A great and important message is being taught here.

First of all, God is all powerful over the forces of nature, even--- and especially--- over fire. He can deflect the heat and flames from off our bodies, though the fire be 7 times hotter than that of an ordinary fire.

Jesus proved this miracle in Daniel 3 to show forth His ability to protect His own in the ovens of the Holocaust or anywhere.
His people crossed-over into eternity, before any flame could touch them, so we believe.
God's power over fiery- heat will still be manifest during the time of the Great Tribulation ( especially so )

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior."Isaiah 43:1-4

We get an understanding of this protection as St. Stephen, the first martyr of the early church, saw heaven open, with the Son of Man standing to receive him , before any stone could close his eyes. Acts7:55, 56.

This same Almighty and powerful God -- our Lord Jesus --- will be between us and our death when our time comes. For those who put their trust in Him, He will never fail.

And lastly, fire is revered in Acts at Pentecost, when the power of the Holy Ghost came down in cloven tongues of fire, thereby giving the disciples anointing from on high , for signs and wonders.

Satan witnessed all of this in history. He craves the power exemplified by fire, and so he will have his man, the false prophet, feign pyrotechnic powers.
The False Prophet tries to upstage the contest on Mount Carmel by Elijah and feigns similar powers.

These "wonders" of fire from heaven could be artificially manipulated from Russian-made mirrors in the sky…the Znamya project. Or it could come from satellite laser particle beams. To be sure, it is a mix of the demonic-occultic and technology.

The false prophet will perform these wonders in the sight of men. And "he will deceive ( with "lying wonders" ) them that dwell upon the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast."
It is also well to note that modern man contains fire in electricity and oil.
Perhaps the False Prophet will be influential in the oil, natural gas and electricity enterprises. Time will tell.

"And he (the false prophet) exerciseth all the power of the first beast (AC) before him, and (the false prophet) causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. " Revelation 13:12

We read also of him in 2 Thessalonians 2:8--10...
"And then shall that Wicked ( the false prophet ) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

This passage tells us then that the identity of the False Prophet will be concretely revealed at the time that the man of sin sits in the Temple as God.

From then on,
The false prophet will be appearing in the media , by remote, with the antichrist.
(possibly one in Europe the other possibly across the Atlantic)
They will enact politically correct "solutions" together.

At first, the one hour will appear to be a normal news cast. But as the Great Tribulation progresses, then :
The antichrist commands….the false prophet calls down the fire….and the consummation takes place (Daniel 9:27b).

We can see all of this electronic buying and selling on the horizon even now. All it would take for the implementation of this 666 System, is a major crisis. Fear alone will make people do what they ordinarily wouldn't do in more serene times.
Fear brings up False Messiahs. Fear pushes grace out.

So this then is not your average Democracy . This is not new-age Liberalism
(although both the AC and FP talk of "tolerance" and "unity", "love" and "compassion").
Most of their language will be Newspeak:
using words that actually will be applied in the opposite.
