Many of our wars are centered around OIL. OIL is Power... the power to control societies.
Read of
OPEC's Fading Power .. March 7-2002
The reason is simple: member countries control a much less significant share of the world's total oil supplies than previously.
Non-Opec countries such as
Russia, Norway and Mexico have ramped up production while new flows of oil fields have been discovered in Africa and South America.
While Opec still controls more than half of the world's crude oil exports, the world league of top-10 oil producers now contains just three Opec members

MOSCOW - President Vladimir Putin, seeking to overturn post-Soviet institutions, is about to submit a draft law to scrap Russians' right to elect regional leaders, a senior parliamentarian said yesterday.

Russia : second largest OIL exporter in the world ... March 12-2002
63 % of oil exporting nations do not belong to OPEC
No wonder then that Opec, preparing for its meeting in Vienna on Friday, is trying to persuade non-cartel countries, which account for 63% of the world's oil output, not to increase their exports.

China's UN forces practice martial arts for Western Hemisphere -- Oct. 6, 2004
LANGFANG, China -- Armed police in combat boots karate-chopped and slashed the air with black clubs, part of a Chinese display of peacekeeping force as Beijing dispatches a 125-strong contingent to Haiti - its first contribution to a U.N. mission in the Western Hemisphere.

Haiti is among about a score of countries that maintain diplomatic relations with Taiwan rather than China, and Beijing's move could be a part of a decades-long struggle with its rival for Third World influence.

The United Nations has investigated China's police practices amid complaints about arbitrary detentions and torture, but officials said Chinese forces have had no problems abroad.

Nearly 2,000 U.S. troops to the Philippines--Feb 21, 2003

WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 — The United States will send nearly 2,000 troops to Philippines in the next few weeks to fight Muslim extremists in the southern part of the country, Pentagon officials said today.

Unlike a six-month training mission that involved 1,300 American forces on Basilan Island last year, this will be a joint operation with the Philippine military that has no fixed deadline. It marks a significant escalation in the war against terror even as the United States builds up for a possible war against Iraq and continues to hunt for Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters in Afghanistan

It is a small force of 200 armed fighters but its grasp of the rugged terrain in southern Philippines and a poor government intelligence network have so far helped its members avoid capture."

The communist New People's Army, which Washington has also branded a terrorist group, has warned that the Americans face attack if they encroach into its areas.

African Union AU plans for terrorism -- July 8, 2004
The 53-member African Union (AU) will create a center for research into the causes of terrorism, which will open in Algiers in October, an Algerian official revealed.
African Union leaders gathered at a summit meeting in the Ethiopian capital "decided to create an African center studying and researching terrorism", said Abdelkader Messahel, the Algerian minister for African and Maghreb affairs.
The center will be staffed by some 20 experts and financed by the African Union, the European Union, the United Nations and the United States.

Bob Geldof (rock star) calls for Marshall Plan ( conditional money ) for all of Africa --June 1, 2003

ADDIS ABABA (AFP) - Rock star Bob Geldof called for a "Marshall Plan" for Africa as he arrived to raise awareness about a looming famine in Ethiopia almost 20 years after organising the first Live Aid concert.
The Marshall Plan was put into place by the United States after World War II for the reconstruction of Europe.

Geldof, who raised some 150 million dollars in 1985 with the Live Aid concert, earlier held talks with Prime Minister Meles Zenawi raising both the issue of cancelling Africa's debt to Western nations and the problem of AIDS (news - web sites).

Anglo- Administrations blocks UN intervention in Africa (West Africa especially) May 25, 2003
UNITED NATIONS -- As Britain's United Nations ambassador, Jeremy Greenstock, prepared to lead a Security Council delegation to West Africa earlier this month to help end civil strife in the region, word came from London and Washington that Africa's troubles would have to wait. Greenstock was needed here to help usher a U.S.-backed resolution lifting sanctions on Iraq through the 15-nation council.
The postponement of the seven-nation tour underscored the degree to which the Security Council's focus on Iraq over the last several months has overshadowed other looming crises. But it also demonstrates how powerful nations including the United States and Britain can monopolize the council's attention on problems they want solved while leaving others to fester.
Since Sept. 11, 2001, the council's priorities have shifted to combating global terrorism and helping to rebuild countries -- Afghanistan and Iraq -- invaded by the United States. But the agenda has been pursued at the expense of other trouble spots, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, where several nations, including Liberia, Ivory Coast and Congo, are facing some of their worst crises in years, according to some diplomats and U.N. observers.

French Troop Intervention into the Ivory Coast...ECOWAS---Feb 12, 2003
France has received international backing for its intervention in its former colony, Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire) where a
civil war has been raging for five months. The United Nations Security Council passed a resolution that “welcomes the deployment of Ecowas (Economic Community of West African States) forces and French troops” and endorses the peace agreement signed by both the government and rebels in the current civil war.
Ecowas countries have been very reluctant to be involved in the conflict and have so far sent only 200 troops, though this is set to increase to 1,500. Imposition of a power-sharing government that is supposed to end the conflict is very much a French effort, whose troops in the country now number more than 3,000. The deal has met with little success as President Laurent Gbagbo, on his return from signing up to it in Paris, claimed it was only a series of “proposals”. His supporters have attacked French citizens and their property.

Marxist anti-American Triangle: Venezuela, Brazil and Cuba
Diaz said Chavez is in the process of forming a bloc of Latin American countries that "will promote terrorism and also direct action against the economy of the United States."

The leaders of Cuba, Brazil and Ecuador are on board with Chavez, he said, and they "now are aiming at Argentina." ...
Diaz said the alliance will start looking for alternative markets, such as Asia, that could hinder U.S. efforts to create a Free Trade Area of the Americas by 2005....
Unless something changes, he sees an uprising, or "civil war," on the horizon, possibly within the next month.

Brazil seeking defense strategy with Argentina- Sept 23-2002

Applicable to all of South America
Brazil is calling for an "integration" of its national defense doctrine with that of Argentina. The goal is to build a common South American defense policy based mainly on preventing the United States from establishing a permanent military presence anywhere in the region. If Argentina accepts the proposal, it could undermine U.S. efforts to build hemispheric military support for battling regional rebels and drug traffickers.

In addition to praising the unabashedly Marxist Castro,
Chavez also indirectly aids the ELN, a communist guerrilla group operating in Colombia, Venezuela's neighbor to the west. ......
As an early step toward the fulfillment of the goal, Chavez changed the name of his country from the Republic of Venezuela to the "Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," indicating the eventual goal of one united Latin America. .....
Both Chavez and Castro have advocated the union of Latin America into a single union -- dominated by Marxist theory -- which would stand in opposition to its wealthy neighbor to the north, the United States

Washington blamed Chavez for provoking the crisis, accusing his administration of ordering snipers to fire on protesters and saying he did not "act with restraint and show full respect for the peaceful expression of political opinion."

Chavez resigns
..... April 12-2002
Venezuela is the No. 3 supplier of oil to the United States and the world's fourth biggest exporter........
Pedro Carmona, head of Venezuela's largest business association, announced he would head a transitional government to be installed later Friday.......
"I urge Venezuelans to maintain calm, to keep faith, to continue working on the road toward democracy, freedom and peace," said retired Gen. Guaicaipuro Lameda, who until February headed the oil company and was a leader of the movement to oust Chavez. "It's with sadness that to reach this point, so many people had to die, so many wounded."

CUBA

Cuba still a threat--- Jan 6, 2003
Fulton T. Armstrong soft on Cuba, respected by Geo. Tenet (CIA)
Since 1998 in Florida, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has uncovered 16 suspected or convicted Cuban spies.
"These [spying] activities and others prove that they are a hostile country," said Otto J. Reich, the Bush administration's special envoy for the Western Hemisphere.
Included in the Bureau’s more recent round-ups: a Cuban spy operation that penetrated the Pentagon's intelligence agency.
.....
All during the 1990s such soft-on-Cuba sentiments fanned the ire of Cuban-American leaders that wanted nothing to take away from spotlight on such issues as Cuba’s open and notorious alliances with Libya and Iran, and its covert development of cyber-warfare capabilities designed to cripple U.S. communications......
"They are one of the most aggressive intelligence services there is," Hector M. Pesquera, the head of the F.B.I.'s Miami office, told the Times. "They made some mistakes and we were able to capitalize on them, but they are still very good. They are very determined and they work the numbers. They know we can't cover everything."

Kosovo: Mother Blueprint for "other" nations

Nation-building...like in Afghanistan
The Oxymoron War: "democracy" by force....."freedom" by tragedy

K-FOR...Int'l Peacekeeping Force...The final force
5 steps (applicable anywhere on earth)

1. stop the military action (war, uprising, anarchy, terrorism etc.)
2. withdraw parent military force (he whose right it is)
3. station Int'l force (foreign forces)
4. resettlement of refugees by religious organizations
5. Int'l law established, with
enforced compliance by head of local government.

Psalm 82

Kosovo is the war that broke all the rules. It is unprecedented in its lack of checks and balances. NATO (under UN co-operation) went from defensive to offensive. The US entered by executive order, with no declaration of war by Congress. Our American forces served under NATO command. We ignored Judeo-Christian ethics and bombed cities on Easter, our Holiest Day, and Passover (while observing cease-fire during the entire Islamic month of Ramadaan)

Will this Force pattern the invincible Beast to come?..........
"who is able to make war with him?" Rev. 13:4
Will this unstoppable Force become the Abomination of Desolation?

As 'Op. Joint Guardian' gets underway, the world will get a premiere showing of how martial law takes place in every town, city, hamlet and village. As we see the joint venture in action on our TVs, we will become accustomed to foreign forces working in harmony. That way, we will not be so shocked when Russian and Chinese troops arrive in our neighborhoods. Welcome to the NWO.

One of the first operations of Martial Law is to disarm the people.
Note: There will be a new civil administration and a multi-ethnic judicial system
