ST.
PATRICK
the
TRINITY ...one God, three Persons
deliverance from the demonic
![]()
St. Patrick was born in 432 in Scotland.
When he was quite young, he was taken into slavery and brought to
Ireland (relocation). Slavery is evil. It is child-labor....it is
separation from home and great heart break. It is when you are
exploited by another to his advantage; and it is hard labor with
no decent wages.....no economic way to break out of the slavery
cycle. You become property , rather than a person.
Ireland in the 5th Century was steeped in deep darkness and the occult. Mythology permeated every aspect of the people's
lives. They were totally a pagan nation. They believed that the
god of fire was to be reborn each Spring, by having their tribal
king light the first fire of the year. From his fire alone, the
people would kindle their own homes.
But St. Patrick lit his own fire, and for this act he was brought
before the king. To which St. Patrick replied, "Here am
I" [Isaiah 6:8]. St. Patrick was bold in his beliefs. From
that point on, St. Patrick was anointed and appointed by God to
preach to this heathen nation. He lit the fire of the Gospel
which has not been extinguished for approximately 1600 years.
THE
TRINITY
Patrick taught the people about
the Living God. He taught them that God was not pantheistic---to
be worshipped in nature (like "Earth ethic" suggests).
Nor was God polytheistic...one of many deities (like United
Religions suggests). But God was ONE "echad"...the
Almighty Monotheistic God. And being One, God is three persons in
One...the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.
Believing in One God--- supreme over all--- could be understood.
But understanding three persons in One was difficult. So Patrick
plucked up a clover from the ground and showed them that although
it was one clover, or shamrock, it had three parts in one.
This they could now see and understand. Now they knew that the
Supreme God had His express image come to earth as Jesus Christ,
to live among us and to feel our life from our perspective. This
Son of God, yet truly man, knew what it was like to be tempted in
every way, and yet He remained sinless. He offered up His perfect
life upon the Cross, substituting for our imperfections, so that
the Father would accept Believers into His fellowship.
[We lost that fellowship in the Garden of Eden when our stem
parents sinned]
Fellowship then became restored through our Redeemer and Savior,
Jesus Christ by His blood sacrifice. He alone atoned for our
sins, since He alone was a perfect sacrifice. Mary can not be a
co-redemptrix because she was one of us, born under the curse of
the Original Sin in the Garden of Eden. There is no such a thing
as the "Immaculate Conception".
"For there
is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus"
1 Timothy 2:5
And nothing can save us from the consequences of our sins except
the Blood of Jesus. There are no such things as
"indulgences" or "works" that substitute for
confession of sin to God.
[Best to save that expensive airfare to Rome just to walk through
those millennial doors of St. Peter's Bascilica. That walk has
nothing whatsoever to do with your immortal soul.] Having your
sins covered under the atoning blood of Jesus through confession
to Him Alone (and NOT to the 'Confessor'-online) is the only
thing that will wash our sins away. It's all in Hebrews Chapter 9.
Even though Jesus died, He arose from the dead and ascended into
Heaven, leaving us the gift of His Holy Spirit to teach us all
things. These three persons in One then are the Father, the Son
and the Holy Spirit. We have come to call the 3 in 1
"Trinity". The concept of the Trinity is a mystery, but
when you love God, the mystery becomes readily understandable.

SPIRIT-FILLED
St. Patrick went on to teach and work wonders among the people,
being full of the Holy Ghost. The Gospel he preached was
confirmed with signs and wonders, just like when you read the
Gospel of Mark and Acts. St. Patrick is credited with the removal of
snakes from Ireland, which agrees with Mark 16:15-18 "they shall
take up serpents"; and just
as Paul did in Acts
28:5.
DELIVERANCE
Today we are living in dark days when the occult is advancing on
every side. We need to be like St. Patrick who cast out demons by
the power of God....
"Greater is
He who is in you, then he that is in the world" ( 1 John
4:4).
Our Lord told us that before we undertake any spiritual activity,
we are to
FIRST "bind
the strongman". Matthew 12:29; Mark 3:27; Luke 11:21;
2 Corinth. 10:4.
The "strongman" means Satan and his allies, the fallen
angels. These fallen angels were given territories both in the
sky and upon earth, prior to their fall. See Daniel 10:20 (the gifts are given without repentance Romans
11:29) . There are demon-angels over nations ( Daniel 10: 13, 20,
21). That is why St. Paul tells us in Ephesians Chapter 6:12 that there are powers and principalities, dark
rulers of this world, and wickedness in high places. And we are
told by our Lord to first bind those evil spirits and powers
before taking on any spiritual activity, such as prayer, healing,
witnessings, etc.
The reason so many of our efforts fail is because we forget to do
what the Lord commanded us to do:
"FIRST, bind the strongman", in Jesus name. Matthew
12:29
WEARIN' the
COVERING
If someone we know needs deliverance from demons, or if even we
ourselves are being tried, tested and tempted greatly, we must
first bind the strongman in the NAME of JESUS. Next we ask for
ourselves or others to be covered under the Blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus bought that deliverance power when
He shed His Blood on Calvary. The demons flee from that
Blood....it reminds them of their defeat at the Cross
(Colossians 2:15) when the Totally Innocent One died in our
behalf...
"the Just for the unjust." 1 Peter 3:18.
Jesus overthrew their spell at that point
Colossians
2:15.."And having spoiled principalities and powers,
He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."
"And they
overcame him (Satan) by the Blood of the Lamb (Jesus)" Rev.
12:11
CHUTZPAH : THE
RIGHT STUFF
Jesus left the particulars up to us to name names in interceding
for demonic deliverance. We must do our part. "The kingdom
of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by
force." Matthew
11:12. So if you're not in the
habit of binding demons in Jesus name, and pleading the Blood of
Jesus Christ, then NOW would be a good time to make that a habit,
seeing that "the devil is come down unto you, having great
wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time" Rev. 12:12.
Deliverance is an urgently needed ministry,
and ALL believers are deputized to do the
job. We've been given the keys and the authority....
Matthew 10:1
Authority of disciples:"He
gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to
heal all manner of sicknesses and all manner of disease."
and Matthew
16:19 Authority of the Church:"And
I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven (spiritual authority):
and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth (demonic powers) shall be bound in heaven;
and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth (power of the Holy Spirit) shall be loosed in heaven"
and repeated again in Matthew 18:18
"Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:
and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in
heaven"
and Matthew
28:18--20 " All power is given unto Me in heaven and in
earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son (Jesus Christ), and of
the Holy Ghost:
(The Trinity that St. Patrick spoke of)
Teaching them to observe all things which I have commanded you:
and lo, I am
with you always, even unto the end of the world" (end of the
age).
Mark 3:15 " And to have power to heal sicknesses, and
to cast out devils"
and Mark 6:7 "and gave them power over unclean
spirits".
Luke 4:32 "His Word was with power"
and Luke 9:1"and gave them power and authority over ALL
devils, and to cure diseases>
And He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God, and to heal the
sick".....
and they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the
Gospel, and healing everywhere." Luke 9:6
and Luke 10:17:"And the 70 (disciples) returned again with
joy, saying,
'Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy Name
(JESUS).
And He said unto them,"I beheld Satan as lightning fall from
heaven".
"Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall
by any means hurt you."
and Luke 24:49 Power of the Holy Spirit promised at
Pentecost:"tarry....till ye be endued with power from on
high." This statement shows forth the fact that Holy Ghost
power is not automatic. It is given in due season.
Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the
Holy Ghost is come upon you."
The 144,000 Spirit-filled Hebrews of the Last Days will have the
double-portion of the Firstfruit Blessing upon them.
We must step out boldly, just like Paul did in Acts 13:6-12.
PRAISE
After we have first bound the strongman, and after we have pled
the Blood of Jesus Christ, then it is good to praise and keep on
praising in an overflowing stream of thankfulness and
worship..." I love you, Father, I love you Jesus, I love you
Holy Spirit....praise you Father, Son and Holy
Ghost...alleluia...thank you Jesus for hearing and answering my
prayer....thank you Jesus for deliverance....Jesus, Jesus,
Jesus."
Let the powerful name of Jesus and the sweet adoration and praise
flow from our lips continually. God inhabits the praises of His people. (Psalm
22:3)
Our praise brings forth a more intense sense of God's presence
into our situation. And it is good to thank the Lord in advance,(
the "sacrifice of praise") before we see the
confirmation of our prayers. That is what true faith is all
about.
"This is
the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1
John 5:4
SEPARATION
Then lastly, once having received deliverance, we practice
separation. Deliverance is not an abra-cadabra sort of ritual. Deliverance
is partnering with God in spiritual warfare. Our part
in the venture is to have the spirit of discernment to recognize
demonic activity "for
we wrestle not with flesh and blood" but with the demonic
... Ephesians 6:12.
(By the way, if people are "in-to" angels, please
remind them that angels also mean devils, fallen angels. So every
time you see those cute little cherubs and Raphael angels you
could be gazing at demons, and they crave that form of worship.)
OK then, we need to have discernment. We need to bind the evil
spirits in the NAME of JESUS. We need to plead the Blood of
Jesus, and we need to praise and thank the Lord for answering our
prayers. But all of this is to no avail, if we or others do not
abstain from whatever brought about the demonic activity in the
first place
"this kind comes not out but by fasting" Matthew 17:21...Mark 9:29
2 Peter 2:22 and lack of committed trust "unbelief"
Matt. 13:58.
Food, diet and health have a lot to do with leaving us vulnerable
to demonic activity in our life. Our Lord cured many epileptics
from seizures in His lifetime. In our lifetime many people get
seizures from aspartame ( in diet drinks etc.). People who get
seizures get them from the adversary. This does not mean that
they are demon-possessed, but rather under demonic attack. We
must research the circumstances and not be ignorant of Satan's
devices nor wiles.
Our Lord cast out many demons of seizures and other
ailments...Matt. 8:28; 9:32 deafness; 12:22 blindness, and mute;
15:22; 17:15 etc. Satan is behind all of our sicknesses; but by
His stripes (the brutal whipping Jesus received) we are
healed."
1 Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5.
If doctors prescribe total abstinence from certain foods, we must
separate from those foods. If we have been told to restrict
intake, then that is what we must do. If we need certain
medications rightfully prescribed by a doctor, we must be in
compliance. Otherwise the death angel (and disease) will have
advantage over us.
Another doorway that opens to demonic activity is the love of
money. The love of money is the root of ALL evil. 1 Timothy 6:10.
We must always remember that "freely we have received, so
freely we give" Matthew 10:8. We must not have that grasping
all-I-can-get attitude, be it material or ministry. We must have
a lend-lease attitude about life...it'll even soften up those
wrinkles in our face.
We must let our moderation be known to all men. Philippians 4:5
and we must be self-controlled Galatians 5:23,24. We must
renounce, forsake and separate ourselves from any person, place
or thing that opens the door to powers of wickedness James 4:7
"Resist the devil and he will flee from you". Your own
discernment will tell you.
DEVOURING LION
We must never lose our guard. Satan is our mortal enemy:
"Brethren, be sober and watch well , the devil who is your
enemy goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour,
but you grounded in the faith MUST FACE HIM BOLDLY!
1 Peter 5:8,9
The devil comes to steal, kill, lie and
destroy' John
10:10 and John 8:44
We are not to fear devils. We are to take authority boldly over
them in the powerful name of JESUS
(1 John 4:18)
Without the name of Jesus, you just might get beat-up (Acts
19:13-17).
But we've been casting out powers and principalities for 23 years
now
and always in the name of Jesus.
The message of St Patrick is the message of Deliverance. Without
demonic deliverance, would Faith have ever come to Ireland?
BINDING,
LOOSING
Lastly, after binding, we must do some loosing" Matt. 18:18.
Nature hates a vacuum. And the supernatural hate a vacuum even
more. Luke 11:17-26
So we need to fill up that void in our life. We need to replace
darkness with Light; and that can only happen by filling
ourselves up with the Word of God....1 minute...10 minutes a day,
maybe an hour or two a day...some may need an all day permeating
bath in the Word. Whatever you need, do it now and keep doing it
(feed your head...and heart). We never outgrow our need for the
milk of God's Word. And we never outgrow our need for the
meat of His Word...intense study, research and depth.
Today, more than ever, we need to be Word-wise.
What else do we loose ? We loose the power of the Holy Spirit to
have His way over us and others when being delivered. We loose
healing from Jehovah-Rophe
Exodus 15:26 our Healing Jesus..."I AM the LORD that healeth
thee".
For emotional healing, we bind hatred, coldness, pride and an
unforgiving spirit, and we release instead the love of God, and
prayer for our enemies. All of this brings healing to the soul.
Forgiveness is not necessarily fellowship....forgiveness is
harboring no ill-will towards others. When we pray for our
enemies, we are demonstrating good-will towards them.
All of that to say what a wonderful example St. Patrick is to all
of us. He was "into " God with His whole heart, mind ,
soul and body. He couldn't contain it all so he gave it away
freely....to those who didn't understand their need. St. Patrick
helped to shed the light of the Gospel to those who sat in
darkness Luke 1:79. May we too go forth in the mighty power of
God's Holy Spirit
"that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the
Word of life". Philippians 2:15,16.

In the Mystery of the Trinity.... by Yinanyavo
In the mystery of the Trinity, lies the
Father, Spirit, Son.
In the beauty of eternity is the wondrous three in One.
In the power of their unity, He created all we see,
In the strength of their divinity, He delivered you and me.
Can we know the mystery? Shall we fathom Grace?
Maybe in eternity, when we look upon His face.
Will we see the Fathers eyes? Shall we kiss the Son?
Will the Spirit make us wise to comprehend the three in One?
See the Father how He cares for us.
Taste the goodness of the Son.
Hear the Spirit speaking truth to us,
Oh, the wondrous three in One.
How our hearts recieve the Father's love!
How our bodies join the Son's!
On our thoughts alights the precious Dove!
Oh! the wondrous three in One.
In the mystery of the Trinity, lies the Father, Spirit, Son.
In the beauty of eternity is the wondrous three in One.
Can we know the mystery? Shall we fathom Grace?

Will we see the Fathers eyes? Shall we kiss the Son?

PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF
IRELAND
March 2003.... God bless the former Prime Minister of Ireland
John Bruton who boldly proclaimed
"God to be the source of Truth" to the European
committee headed by Valery Giscard d' Estaing
that wanted to throw out
any reference to God in the EU Constitution.
"The Union values shall include the values of those who
believe in God as the source of truth,
justice, good and beauty as well as of those who do not share
such a belief but respect these universal values arising from
other sources."
John Bruton, member of the presidium, was among
those who signed a petition by convention members asking that
such a reference be included.

William
Wallace
While we cannot control the outcome of
2004, we are all responsible for our decisions and the dreams we
pursue- or not. When William Wallace and his band of countrymen
faced the armies of England on the battlefield, the odds were
against them, and many considered giving up. Wallace spoke with
passion and said,
"I see a whole army of countrymen here in defiance of
tyranny. You've come to fight as free men, and free you are.
What will you do without freedom? Will
you fight? Fight and you may die. Run and you'll live, at least
for a while. And dying in your bed many years from now, will you
be willing to trade all the days from this day to that, for just
one chance, just one, to come back and tell our enemies that they
may take our lives but they will never take our freedom?
Erin go bracht! (Long live Ireland!)"
