PSALM 32---Forgiveness
Blessed is the man whose transgression is forgiven,
who sin is covered (under the blood
of Yeshua...confessed sin).
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no guile. (no
deceit )
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all
the day long.
(unconfessed sin)
For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me;
my moisture is turned into the drought of summer
Selah (think about this)
I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not
hid.
I said, I will confess my
transgressions unto the LORD;
and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.
Selah (think about
this).
For this shall everyone that is godly pray unto Thee
in a time when Thou mayest be found:
surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh
unto him.
Thou art my Hiding Place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way that thou shalt
go:
I will guide thee with Mine eye.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no
understanding:
whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come
near unto thee.
Many sorrows shall be unto the wicked:
but he that trusteth
in the LORD, mercy
shall compass him about.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous:
and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

"Who is a God like you, Who forgives iniquity
and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His
heritage? He retains not His anger forever, because He
delights in mercy and loving-kindness ...
You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea."
[Micah 7:18-19]
.........................................PSALM 51 FOLLOWED BY PSALM 32
In our daily walk there are highs and lows. Psalm 51 is an excellent Psalm when
taking an inventory of one's self...examining our conscience in
regards to faults, mistakes, errors and sins.
As the Holy Spirit reveals to our hearts what our mind tries so
hard to suppress (denial),
we come under spiritual conviction and repentance.
We confess our sins, even our hidden, secret sins to the Lord.
We are refreshed with a clean, clear conscience.
Our relationship then is a conduit free of static.
Whatever we keep hidden , will come back upon us.
"And be sure your sin will find you out." Numbers 32:23
We do not confess our sins to priests but to God only, and to any
injured party.
After we have confessed our sin, there remains no more
guiltiness.
Conviction comes from the Holy Ghost...guilt comes from the
adversary.
Guilt repeats offenses over and over again without any remedy.
It bears not the fruit of repentance (as in conviction) but
results in self-loathing,
and thus more sins.
That is why after reading Psalm 51 and then confessing our sins
to God,
it is always good to read Psalm 32 about God's forgiveness of our sins...
our absolution in Him.
We are now clean, free and forgiven.
