tied to ecological "ethics" ( so-called) , which is backed by the heavy hand of governance.

When business and government are tied to an outside "common cause" with religious fervor, you have the harlot of
Revelation 17.

Unfortunately, the main-stream government-backed churches will endorse this adulteration.
Yes, we are to be good stewards of the land. Yet land, corporations and economies will never take priority over individual human needs and priorities. The "collective good" will never outweigh the good of the individual.
This is the priority :
God first,
man second,
and everything else subjugated to those authorities.
God gave to man the dominion over the earth, not visa-versa.
"And God said," Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have the dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,, and over the cattle, AND OVER ALL THE EARTH, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1: 26 + 28
Had we followed God's guide lines contained in the Bible, we would not be in the polluted mess we are today.
Pollution is only a reflection of the corruption within man's heart. Jeremiah 17:9
501 tax status ( churches exempt from paying taxes ) has successfully undermined the Biblical Faith that once was the plumbline of American Churches . De Toquiville ought to have said, "As long as the churches pay taxes, they will be independent of government intervention and control."
But since the churches took a free ride on the government's back, the government can now control the churches. "

There is a great hypocrisy going on concerning the environment. If the System loved green so much and wanted the earth to be replenished with trees, then why is the System making sure that trees have barely any limbs in all of our cities, so that cameras and GPS can see all the better ? Pragmatism wins out over environmentalism whenever it suits their purposes.

One of our American presidents's used to say , " It's the ECONOMY, s_ _ _ _ _ ." Well, he was referring of course to politics and global control.
Unfortunately he -- and all the other elitists -- do not realize that: " it's JESUS , sir " , Who has all power and is soon to reign over all the kings of this earth, even over all of our American presidents and even over those sophisticated economists.
JESUS is our ultimate Rainmaker ; and without rain, there is no economy, sir. Period.
He will reign by rain . Zechariah 14 : 17--19
