Such a scenario is extremely unlikely. The court's opinions are nonbinding.
But as the United Nations' highest legal authority, its rulings are influential and could have diplomatic consequences.

"legal conscience" of the UN (Keystone)
Nicolas Michel will be among the top five legal advisers to Kofi Annan.

Former government minister Adolf Ogi is Annan’s adviser on sport.
Sociology professor and renowned author, Jean Ziegler, acts as Special Rapporteur on the right to Food for the UN Human Rights commission.

There is now renewed public interest in U.S. goals to identify persons who "for whatever reasons" want to kill others indiscriminately and prevent them from acquiring weapons of mass destruction, Mr. Lugar said.
Still, this "very important international agenda will not be achieved by the United States alone, nor by the NATO alliance," Mr. Lugar said. Instead, it will require an outreach to all who believe in the United Nations' agenda of peace and cooperation.

All American citizens are subject to extradition to the ICC court at the Hague.
Pres. G. W. Bush only made US Soldiers immune to prosecution, but he did NOT make American citizens immune to extradition or prosecution by a foreign power
( the ICC ). That means that when the NWO is ready, all Christians will be arrested as "terrorists" for their Biblical beliefs and some could possibly be sent to Europe for trial.

Others will be tried and sentenced here.

UN and Terrorism

Russia ( Putin ) proposes Global terror list -- Sept. 23, 2004
Remember folks, a " terrorist " is defined solely by the executive, and is loosly interpreted to mean anyone who is politically-incorrect ( i.e. Bible-believing Christians)
This proposal is being put forth by an atheistic nation to the UN which is anti-Bible.
UNITED NATIONS - Russia, which argues that its war in Chechnya (news - web sites) is part of the global fight against terrorism, proposed Thursday that the U.N. Security Council establish a new blacklist of terror suspects that calls for the extradition of anyone on it. ...
The resolution also asked the committee to consider punishments against people on the list, including an arms embargo, freezing financial assets, and imposing travel bans and "expedited extradition of anyone named in the list."

The draft resolution calls for cooperation between nations to find and prosecute terrorists. It said terror attacks cannot be justified by "consideration of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or other similar nature."
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040924/ap_on_re_eu/un_terrorism_resolution

New UN resolution on Terrorism
The resolution states that hostage-taking and other acts against civilians aimed at provoking "a state of terror" can never be justified on political, philosophical, ideological, racial, religious or ethnic grounds. It calls on all nations to prosecute or extradite anyone supporting, financing or participating in such acts.

Ed note: Political correctness invoked with large loose terminology .....
The resolution "condemns in the strongest terms all acts of terrorism irrespective of their motivation, whenever and by whomsoever committed, as one of the most serious threats to peace and security."

When Russia introduced the draft last month it called for the council to compile a new list of terrorist suspects not linked to al-Qaida or Afghanistan's former Taliban rulers, who would be subject to extradition and possible sanctions.

The council has already imposed stiff sanctions against those groups, requiring all 191 U.N. member states to impose a travel ban and arms embargo against a list of those linked to the Taliban or al-Qaida and to freeze their financial assets. But it has not examined what actions to take against other terrorists.
a possible new terrorist list was dropped in order to get Algeria and Pakistan, the only Muslim nations on the council, to support the resolution. If Muslims support this, then who is the target ????

Christians are politically incorrect and therefore will become subject to this legislation and will be called "terrorists" even though that is farthest from the truth.

UN to use EU "hit squads" Oct. 11, 2004
"emergency military intervention by EU battlegroups on behalf of the UN in crisis situations
there are quite a few problems which you can either contain or nip in the bud if you are able to send in a force quickly."
"You sometimes have to show force in order not to use force." In some crisis areas, the inhabitants were intimidated by "local bullies" who would not stand up to an international force, he added.

Proposals for EU-UN military co-operation were strongly promoted
the EU's "rapidly deployable battlegroups" should be operational next year and could be on the ground
to tackle an ...crisis within 10 days.
A high-level panel, due to report to Mr Annan in early December, is expected to urge changes in the
concept of
state sovereignty

the value of EU participation, "particularly military action", in crisis management operations.
The chairman of the Peace and Neutrality Alliance and a member of the Forum on Europe, Mr Roger Cole, said that while he welcomed Mr Annan's visit, the UN was "in danger of becoming an instrument of US-EU policy". He would be seeking to make this point to the Secretary General.

US wants global force;
The Global Peace Operations Initiative --Oct. 11, 2004
Many of the world's peacekeeping missions operate under the auspices of the United Nations, (1) which now oversees more than 50,000 troops in 14 regions. The number is due to grow by about 20,000
But efforts to meet this surge have been handicapped by the competing demands of US(2) and NATO (3)-led coalitions
The Bush initiative's goal is to train about 75,000 additional foreign troops who could be sent on missions at short notice and perform a wide range of peacekeeping activities.

UN Democracy Fund -- Sept. 22, 2004 (inclusive political correctness )
Ed. note: Global Force for All-Inclusive "human rights"
Bush called on nations to help the United States and coalition allies build democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush also announced a proposal to establish a Democracy Fund in the United Nations to help foster that change.
Now we have the historic chance to widen the circle even further, to fight radicalism and terror with justice and dignity, to achieve a true peace founded on human freedom.
and the conditions that foster extremism. Security in the globally linked new century relies on advancing freedom and dignity for all peoples, Bush said. "These rights are advancing across the world, and across the world the enemies of human rights are responding with violence," the president said.
Ed. note:Wonder if this will end up being against Christians for their Biblical and principled beliefs ???

The United States and Italy have proposed a global peace operations initiative in which the richest countries of the world will train 75,000 peacekeepers, initially from Africa, so they can conduct operations on that continent and elsewhere.
Finally, Bush said that because the United Nations believes in human dignity, peaceful nations must stand for the advance of democracy.

Democracies are alive in all cultures encompassing all ethnicities, religions, traditions and races, Bush said.

Greater cooperation between UN ( 191 nations) and the ICC
passed on Oct. 4 ...same day as Supreme Court opened for session

The pact that would encourage "greater cooperation and consultation" on administration and judicial matters was signed by U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Judge Phillipe Kirsch of Canada, the court's president.
The 191-member U.N. General adopted a resolution last month approving the agreement. But in a nod to the Bush administration, the assembly's resolution says that the world body would be reimbursed by nations supporting the court for any expenses occurred.
Some 97 countries, including the entire European Union, have ratified the 1998 statute creating the court. The last three nations to ratify two weeks ago were Burundi, Liberia and Guyana.

The court, based at The Hague in the Netherlands, is the first permanent world tribunal set up to prosecute individuals for war crimes, genocide and other gross human rights abuses.
We all know where this is heading. This will target Christians for their Biblical moral beliefs termed "hate crimes" by the UN.
Christians will be called "terrorists" for their belief in the Word of God, and will be extradited to the Hague for prosecution and then for the death penalty for such a 'capital offense'...beheading. ( See

ICC and US immunity--July 5-2002
We think the ICC is the most important advance in international rule of law since the establishment of the U.N. and we are not going to allow anyone to water down our commitment to the principle,” said Chris Patten, the EU’s commissioner for external relations.
The court will prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes on or after July 1, but it will step in only when countries are unwilling or unable to dispense justice.
Supporters say this and other safeguards will prevent frivolous prosecutions. They argue that immunity for U.S. peacekeepers would undermine the court and international law.

Get the U.S. out of the ICC and out of the U.N.! ---June 17-2002
One can sympathize with the symbolism. The U.N. is a pro-communist, pro-fascist, pro-terrorist Trojan horse that deserves no thanks for being "a gift to mankind," and no place in Manhattan or any other U.S. city,
while the ICC, the U.N.'s latest holy weapon, is ready to take legal aim at the U.S. Constitution, its citizens, its corporations, its capitalism, its Christianity, and its state and local governments – so yes, get out of the ICC! ....

In the end, rest assured, the ICC, like the U.N., will be all about supporting socialism, communism, fascism and terrorism; and about prosecuting Americanism, constitutionalism, capitalism, Christianity and Judaism. You can't join hands with international criminals and call it law; you can't give the gavel to communists and terrorists and call it justice. It's all nonsense.

Sharia Law to be incorporated within International Law -- May 2, 2004
"Call For Incorporating Sharia Into International Law "
By Sobhy Mujahid, IOL Correspondent

CAIRO, April 30 (IslamOnline.net) – World Muslim scholars meeting in Cairo urged incorporation of Sharia into the International Law to avoid eruption of more crises or other forms of injustice.
"Some western researchers have found out that Islamic principles could be used to develop the International Law and incorporate its moral values into it," said Jaafar Abdel-Salam, the secretary general of the Islamic Universities Association.
He was speaking at the International Islamic Conference, held in Cairo from April 28 till May 1 under the title of "Tolerance in Islamic Civilization".

Abdel-Salam, himself a professor of International Law, said the application of Sharia along with the International Law would help set up a world system "turning countries closer to each other".
"Islam, with its practices, is the best of international systems that could achieve peace," said Mohamed Dissouki, an International Law professor at Al-Azhar University, in the conference.

Abdel-Salam also stressed that the role of
the United Nations should be enhanced and its system modified to prevent domination of specific countries.
